Temple of Heaven: Constructed in 1420(the 18th year of the Yongle reign period of the Ming Dynasty). The Temple of Heaven was the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for good harvests. It has been included into the UNSCO World Heritage List. Well known for its precise outlay, unusual architectural decorations, it is the largest temple complex for praying in China. 
Badaling Great Wall (with round way cable car): This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is about 2 hours' drive from downtown Beijing. A cable car takes you to a good section (avoiding a very steep climb), where you can walk along the wall, through the watch towers and enjoy superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains. You can return by cable car, walk down or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.

Tian'anmen Square: Located in the center of Beijing, Tiananmen Square is the largest city central square in the world with an area of 440,000 square meters. Tiananmen (Gate of the Heavenly Peace), was the front gateway of the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties, where imperial edicts were made public. The inauguration ceremony of the People’s Republic of China was held here on October 1, 1949. In the center of the square stands the Memorial Hall of Mao Zetong.
The Forbidden City: the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties resided. Located in the center of the central axial line of Beijing, the Palace Museum was firstly constructed in 1406. It has more than 9,000 halls and rooms, and contains a large number of valuable cultural relics. The Palace Museum is a national AAAAA scenic area. Expect to spend at least 2-3 hours, please wear comfortable walking shoes and protection from the weather.
Hutong Tours in a Rickshaw: The area for visitor to take Hutong tour main sits by Shichahai Lake in the city proper, where visitors can place themselves in old water scenes, residences of former princes, temples, former residences of celebrities, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and so on. The area preserves proudly the original appearance of the city, showcasing Beijing’s local lives. Your tour includes a visit with a local family.
Pearl store: Pearl Store is a state-run enterprise that cultivates, processes, manufactures and sells all type of fresh water and sea pearl jewelry and products. China is the largest fresh water pearl producer in the world with the main base being Jiangsu and Zhejing province. Beijing Capital Museum: It is the most advanced and modern comprehensive museum and the symbol construction of Beijing. Hundreds of exhibitions have been held here covering a wide variety of subjects, history, cultural relics, revolutionary history, folk customs, etc.
Lama Temple(Yonghe gong): The colourful Yonghe Lamasery is the largest and most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It's still very active, and the beautiful halls and courtyards are thronged with devotees come to worship or seek good luck.You can see the world's largest wooden statue (the Matreiya Buddha) and Tibetan exhibitions.
Beijing Zoo (Giant Panda Hall): Beijing Zoo was initially named Ten Thousand Animal Garden which was built in 1908, proving that it already has had a history of more than 90 years; Beijing Zoo mainly exhibits wild and rare animals growing in China, such as the Panda and the Golden Monkey. Also, it boasts many rare animals from all around the world, such as White Bear from the North Pole, Kangaroo from Australia, Zebra from Africa
Guozijian : It lies at the No. 15 Guozijian Street (called Chenxian Road in the past), An Ding Men Nei Da Jie, Dongcheng District, adjacent to the Confucius Temple and the Lama Temple. On either side of the Guozijian Street there stand lots of big Japanese Pogoda trees. The four color-painted archways on the two ends of the street and on both sides of the Gate to Guozijian are the only seen in Beijing.

798 Art District: Since 2002, the large number of artists' studios and contemporary art institutions began stationed here, and rented a scale of idle factories, and gradually developed into a gallery, the Arts Centre, artists’ studios, design companies, fashion shops, bars and other catering space. The 798 Art District has promoted to the nation's largest and most influential international arts in recent years.
Beijing Olympic Green (exterior visit of Bird Nest and Water Cube): Olympic Green is the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and is composed of the Olympic Forest Park and the Central Zone. It has accommodation of 91,000. It demonstrates an effective space and its elegant and has a unique and nice shape. All parts of the structure support each other and constitute a net structure, like a bird’s nest with its interwoven twigs. The national Aquatics Center is illustrated composed of foam H2O, molecules. As a result, the whole building has a unique video effect of flowing water and got a name of “water cube”.
Summer Palace: Constructed in the Qing Dynasty, the Summer Palace was an imperial garden. It displays excellent gardening art, and gathers tens of thousands of precious cultural relics. It has been names one of the national AAAAA scenic spots and included into the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours here. Renovations (complete in 2010) mean that an individual section or building may be closed at any one time, but this is a huge site. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
