Houses of Bai People in Xizhou: Among the 25 or so minority groups in Yunnan province is the Bai individuals. The history of this modest minority is quite interesting. The minor town of Xizhou (the title implies happy town) is a now a quiet town using a population of about 32,000 people. It is eighteen kilometers north with the historical metropolis of Dali. However now it’s surrounded by rice paddies and it is mostly recognized for your well preserved Bai standard houses, a lot of instances it has been important in Chinese heritage.

Ancient City of Dali, Cruise on the Erhai Lake: The lake is sandwiched between the Cangshan Mountains to the West and Dali City. It starts at Dengchuan at its northern extremity and finishes at Xiaguan city in the South, receiving water from the Miju and Mici Rivers (in the North), the Bolou River (in the East) and smallers streams from the Cangshan Mountains. Yangbi River is the lake's outlet in the South and eventually flows into the Lancang River.

ZhouCheng tie-dye family workshop: ZhouCheng tie-dye family workshop is near the Spring of Butterflies. You will learn the making process of tie-dye cloth which is one of the Bai peoples traditional handcrafts.

The first bent of Yangtze River at The Stone Drum Town(Shigu Town): Yangtze River, considerd the mother river of China, flows majestically through the center of China and is the third longest river in the world. Starting from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Yangtze River surges southeastward until it meets the Hengduan Mountain Range. About 44 miles outside of Lijiang, unusual geological phenomenons force the Yangtze to make a sudden V-shaped bend and flow to the northeast. This extraordinary turn, nearly180-degrees, creates beautiful and marvelous views that startle the imagination. Here, the river is wide and the water flows in a gentle, slow pace.

Tiger Leaping Gorge: Tiger Leaping Gorge is a contender for the world's deepest river canyon, depending on the exact definition used.[citation needed] The inhabitants of the gorge are primarily the indigenous Naxi people, who live in a handful of small hamlets. Their primary subsistence comes from grain production and foreign hikers. The gorge is not considered navigable. In the early 1980s, four rafters attempted to go down the gorge and were never seen again. In 1986, the first known successful attempt to sail through the gorge was made by the first expedition to float down the entire length of the Yangtze, starting at the river's high source at the Gelandandong glacier lake.

Pudacuo National Park: It has two lakes, a visitor center, several interesting minority villages, lush forests and pasture views. From the visitor center a park bus takes visitors to the first stop, 8 miles (13 km) miles away from where there are several miles of raised wooden walkways around the 300 acres -Shudu Lake.

Songzanlin Lamasery: Songzanlin is the largest Tibetan Buddhism monastery in Yunnan Province. Covering an area of 30 hectares, it looks like a mini Kumbum (Ta Er) Monastery. It is located on a mountain slope 5km from the county town of Shangri-La.
